A Full Heart

I don't have anything cool to auction off today, but I did want to share in the love for Stephanie. It's amazing how much one person has touched the lives of so many others. She is amazing, and my heart hurts for her and her family right now. For the past eight and a half months since Olivia was born, I have been having a really hard time struggling with depression and all of the overwhelming things that come with being a mother to two small girls so close together. Reading the NieNie Dialogues has been a good reminder to me to take joy in the simple things, to relish the experience of being a mother, and to always treat your husband like a super hero. I loved the spiritual and emotional lift that I got from sharing in the simple daily treasures that Nie chose to share with the world. I feel so blessed that my life has been touched by her. Lots of thoughts, love and prayers.

A Few Trip Highlights

We had such a fun time in Utah. It was so nice to have so many arms wanting to take the girls and hold them and play with them. Michael and I got a much needed break!

Katie and her adoring uncles - she never got tired of asking to go outside. She'd run to the door, reach up and grab the doorknob, and say "outside?" in her high, pleading voice.

Now, it's back to regular life and the reality of laundry, laundry, and more laundry!

Bring On Eternity

We celebrated our third anniversary yesterday. Three years has just flown by. I couldn't have asked for a better man to share the journey with. I love you with all my heart, and I wish I could make up better words that could really express how much you mean to me. Since I can't, here's some pictures since I've heard around somewhere that they are supposed to be worth more. ;) These are some of my favorites from the day it all began.
