It's been a while. Here's some things we've been doing.
We finally got around to doing our halloween votives on halloween day - Katie's kinda crafty.
She just needed a little help from me ;)
And no help from anyone to knock on doors and collect free candy - she was all over that!
And, Katie is now officially TWO. Crazy. B-day breakdown: Favorite gifts: blocks! loved the giant legos and the barking dog puppet from G-ma came in a close 2nd after she stopped being scared of it. Mom did cupcakes this year 'cause she thought surely she couldn't ruin cupcakes...she was wrong, but they still tasted good. Overall b-day rating: Two very enthusiastic thumbs up; fine holiday fun.
Meanwhile, Livs has been busy being cute and has been dubbed "hill-billy Livs" due to her gap-toothed grin. No one can resist the cheeks - they're seriously edible. 
Tomorrow, we make for the land of Utah where we will remember to be thankful for many, many things. Particularly free plane tickets. 14 hour drives with 2 little kids aren't so fun. Happy Thanksgiving to you all! Okay, peace out.
